Since
last we spoke, a few new code samples have been created.
There also has been an upgrade to CodeShare providing easier
content management capabilities for Project Owners. Read
below for the typical code sample and project news. Also keep
visiting the blog for a new entry explaining the new CodeShare
features. As always, if
you have any questions about submitting a new project or code sample,
please contact the Community
Manager.
New Code Samples
WebLogic Portal has gotten a few new code samples since we
last spoke. I would like to thank Ron Schweikert
for his continued support of CodeShare via WebLogic Portal code samples.
-
Configurable iFrame Portlet - An example portlet
that allows you to specify the url, height and width for the iFrame and
it's contents.
-
WLP Behavior Tracking and Sample Analytics - This
comprehensive package provides deep insight into the event mechanism of
WLP. Customer demos that utilize campaigns and content selectors can
benefit by showing visual charts of the results of those campaigns and
selections. This code not only assists in visual demos but also
provides sample code for interportlet communications, event management,
event reformatting and Excel charting samples.
-
Custom CM Workflow - Provides a custom CM
workflow for WLP 9.2 along with information and installation
instructions. Its purpose is to provide a sample that can easily be
extended or modified.
-
WLW 9.2 Sample using REST and Yahoo - Shows
how to use REST with a Yahoo service.
New Projects
WebLogic Portal has been given Dojo AJAX integration thanks to
the
new dojoportal92 project on CodeShare. The idea is to provide
simple-to-implement AJAX components and functionality into WebLogic
Portal applications. dojoportal92 has source code and
examples of
how this can be done. The following is the information about
the
dojoportal92 project and it's owner:
- genesis
- Genesis stands for Genesis, Enterprise, Network, Engineering
& Systems Installation
Solution and is used to build enterprise stacks from the ground
up. All the infrastructure from the OS and Networks to J2EE containers
and Web Servers can be built using a this tool. Our aim is to
revolutionise environment provisioning.
The CodeShare Community Managers would like to thank you for
your
involvement in CodeShare. Please keep the submissions coming
and
please let us
know if we can assist you with anything.
Take care,
Jeremy
