The CodeShare community is proud to announce the availability of JProcessUnit 1.1. For those of you not familiar with JProcessUnit, it is a unit-test based testing framework for automated testing of business processes running in a Business Process Engine (BPE). Not only does JProcessUnit provide you with the automated testing framwork but it also provides you with add-ons for the testing of WLI business processes. The new version of JProcessUnit provides support for WLI 9.2 while maintaining backward compatibility with tests written for WLI 8.1 without any need to change the tests. (If you need to write tests against WLI 8.1, please continue using JProcessUnit 1.0.) For a list of features, examples, use cases and downloads, please visit the JProcessUnit homepage.

Take care,

Jeremy

  • I tried JprocessUnit1.1, its running for the example processes. But when I tried it on my own processes. I am not able to run the JprocessUnit test cases.

I have completed all the steps mentioned in the Readme.doc.

  • I was not able to run the JProcessUnit1.1 for my processes because I have missed some enviornmental(domain) setting. There is no problem with JProcessUnit. JprocessUnit is excellent framework for BlackBox testing of a process’s outward facing interfaces.

  • I have created a test class extending ProcessTestCase. But while running it is executing only methods Constructor, setUp,tearDown. No test methods are executed.

  • After removing constructor with String argument. All the test methods are executed properly.

  • Can JProcess Unit tests be run under WebLogic 10.2? (The new version of JProcessUnit provides support for WLI 9.2) Are there 10.2 (worklist) workarounds or is development underway?
