Marcelo Oliveira is a Software Engineer currently working for Cisco
Systems in the Emerging Markets Business Unit. He has over 9 years of
diversified telecom experience, from hardware and embedded software
development to high level application design and architecture. He is the
author of many patents filed through Siemens Communications in the US,
Europe and China. He has been a key contributor for Siemens in new
product development in the US, Germany and Brazil. In the past, Marcelo
has also worked for BEA, supporting BEA's Global Alliance partners on
the architecture, design, development, and deployment of solutions in
the Telco space.
