I'd like to mention that for the next release of WebLogic Portal we plan to add many additional capabilities for JSR 168 Portlet authoring to the Workshop for WebLogic. We plan to provide new wizards for JSR 168 portlet import and export. Additionally, all the GUI portlet mode, event, and preference editors that we have historically provided for the WLP native portlet style are in plan to be available for JSR 168- making drag and drop 168 portlet editing a reality.
All this helps us prepare for the upcoming JSR 286 specification which we are very excited about.
