John Beatty

John Beatty is a senior principal technologist at BEA Systems, where he works on strategic projects for the CTO Office. Prior to BEA, he was a senior staff engineer at Sun Microsystems, where he served as architect and protocol specification author for the Liberty Alliance federated Web identity system. His main intellectual hobbies include trying to understand intelligence and building large-scale graph storage and computation systems.
