Samuel Kounev



Samuel Kounev is a BEA Technical Director and serves as the release manager on SPEC's Java subcommittee. He is a research associate in the Databases & Distributed Systems Group at Technische Universitaet Darmstadt (Germany). Samuel has extensive experience in the areas of performance engineering, modeling and evaluation of distributed systems, benchmarking and capacity planning. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Technische Universitaet Darmstadt and a M.Sc. degree from the University of Sofia. Samuel's web page.
