Samuel KounevSamuel Kounev is a BEA Technical Director and serves as the release manager on SPEC's Java subcommittee. He is a research associate in the Databases & Distributed Systems Group at Technische Universitaet Darmstadt (Germany). Samuel has extensive experience in the areas of performance engineering, modeling and evaluation of distributed systems, benchmarking and capacity planning.
