Presenter:

Brad Wright is Director of Product Management for BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform. Prior to this role at BEA, Brad was a SOA & AquaLogic Evangelist in BEA’s AquaLogic Center of Excellence. In this role, his mission is to educate and evangelize about the business benefits of SOA, BEA’s SOA vision, and how BEA’s AquaLogic family of products deliver on that vision. Brad is directly engaged with existing BEA customers and new customers that are adopting and delivering SOA in their organizations.

Prior to joining BEA, Brad founded information integration startup MetaMatrix in 1999 along with 6 others. At MetaMatrix, he was VP of Product Management and Technical Services where he worked closely with customers and development to ensure that MetaMatrix product strategy and features fulfilled customer’s data integration needs. He also spent time evangelizing MetaMatrix products and information integration technology throughout the industry and is one of the original architects of the MetaMatrix product line.

Before joining MetaMatrix, Brad worked as a Senior Architect at Connectria where he designed and developed some of the first customer facing web applications for a major railroad. Prior to that, he worked for Digital Equipment Corporation consulting for the Air Force's F-22 Program Office and developing a secure version of the Air Force Air Mobility Command's global transportation support system. Brad also worked for McDonnell Douglas Corporation doing research and development of advanced object-oriented software development techniques and computer-aided software engineering solutions. Brad holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
