In this Webinar, hear from Alex Toussaint, Program Manager for the BEA WebLogic Portal team, discuss what Web Services for Remote Portlets (WSRP) are and how they are used to power Federated Portals. He will provide an overview of the technology, describe the BEA implementation, and outline what is available in WebLogic Portal 8.1 SP3. Participants will also see a demo of the new features.

Alex will review review the most common use cases around Federated Portals and attendees will ample opportunity for Q&A.

Alex Toussaint, Program Manger WebLogic Portal Team, BEA Systems, Inc.

Alex Toussaint has been a Program Manager with the WebLogic Portal team for over two years. His focus has been on Standards (JSR94, JSR168, JSR170, WSRP), Content Management, and Federated Portals. Alex has published articles on BEA dev2dev and was a co-author of the book Professional Java Web Services. Prior to BEA he held several positions at Vignette working on their Portal initiatives and the product transition to a J2EE architecture.
