In areas where we're ahead of standards, we drive our innovations through the standards process, open source community, or providing technology migration kits to ensure maximum interoperability with other vendor's products.
Java/J2EE
BEA strives to lead in the implementation the core J2EE/Java standards. Below
you'll find implementation details and submission status for the many Java/J2EE
standards and JSR's WebLogic platform supports.
XML
BEA is making integration of Java and XML a reality. The goals of this effort are to make it incredibly easy for developers to access, parse, and write XML from Java applications.
Web Services
BEA provides the programming model, architecture, security, and transaction support
that lets developers, J2EE experts, and application developers build, deploy,
manage, and integrate enterprise-class Web services. Below you'll find tools,
discussions, and information relating to today's and tomorrows Web Services and
XML standards.
Open Source/Portability Kits
BEA shares many of our innovations with the IT community via open sourceXMLBeans, XScript, the reference implementations (RIs) and test compliance kits (TCKs) for BEA-lead Java specifications, and artifact portabilty kits. BEA also integrates numerous open source technologies within the WebLogic Platform.
